Our Mission
To equip churches in more effective communication of the gospe,l through the provision of resources and programs that deepen Christian discipleship, enhance learning, and equip the people of God for ministry within the Church and community.
Our Values
We seek to fulfil our mission by:
• Responding to the needs of the Christian Church through a partnership that seeks to discern God’s will,
• Developing a network of people concerned to enrich the life of the Church through education, worship and witness,
• Being innovative in seeking ways of meeting the communication needs of the Churches,
• Anticipating and responding to future trends in communications, education and worship,
• Employing best practice governance and business principles founded on a distinctly Christ-centred ethic.

Rev Dr Tony Nancarrow BA (Journ), L.Th., Dip.R.E.,
DMin, FAIM, FAICD
Dr Tony Nancarrow, a minister of the Uniting Church in Australia, served in parish appointments prior to becoming the founding editor of the Methodist Church's Central Times in 1971.
Following church union he became communications officer for the Uniting Church's South Australian Synod and managing editor of New Times. He founded MediaCom with his wife
Christine in 1980 in response to perceived needs within the life of local congregations
From small beginnings, it has grown to be one of Australia's leading providers of educational
and liturgical resources.
Tony has been involved in a wide range of communication initiatives and has travelled and lectured widely throughout the world. Tony and Christine have two adult children and two grandchildren.Tony's doctoral studies at Fuller Theological Seminary had a special emphasis on communication with a particular focus on the application of direct mail techniques to church growth within the life of a local congregation. He retains an active involvement in the church and has served for 35 years as associate minister of one of Adelaide's most dynamic and growing congregations. He holds a strong commitment to the ecumenical movement. |

MediaCom
is an ecumenical religious communications agency providing resources and
training to the mainline churches of Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Serving the church for over 20 years, it produces a wide range of materials in the areas of Worship and Christian Education for Clergy and church leaders.
MediaCom's Vision Statement:
To be a leader in serving the people of God with innovative, relevant and practical Christian resources. MediaCom exists because it believes that effective communication is vital for ministry in today's world. We are committed to the development of resources that are both stimulating and practical. Our goal is to assist churches and individuals in their task of proclaiming the good news that Christ gives meaning and purpose to life.
Incorporated in South Australia under the Associations Incorporations Act of 1985, MediaCom is structured as a not-for-profit ministry.
Since our founding in 1980, we have grown from a small home based venture into one of the largest publishers of lectionary based curriculums, and religious magazines and periodicals in the country. In excess of 20,000 churches and individuals use our resources.
